I get emails from many people telling me that they want to start an online business. But the only problem is, they don’t know what type of online business they should start.
My answer to this question is always the same. If you want to get started, it is more important that you are ready to start your online business. That you have the motivation and commitment to invest your time and effort into this project.
Don’t wait for every single step to be crystal clear before you start
You don’t have to worry about every single step before you get started. You only need to have your goal in mind. For example, to have your own business and enjoy a life of time freedom, location flexibility and financial independence. The path will become crystal clear as you progress on your journey. Have trust in the process, once the direction is clear.
Unlimited opportunities
Let’s look at the types of online businesses that you can build as a result of being a student of the Mentors education program. There is an infinite amount of opportunities and types of online businesses that you can go out and build. I’ll give you some examples of that in a minute.
The main focus at the beginning of your education
But before I do that, I want to explain to you the main focus of our education. Particularly in the first three to six months, the education will focus on how to market online. Marketing in business is the lifeblood of any business, both offline and online. Knowing how to get your products and services in front of a target audience is everything. You could have the best product or service in the world. But if nobody knows it exists, then how on earth are they going to make a decision to buy that product or service? So what we’re going to do, is we’re going to focus in almost an intensive way, on how to market online.
And believe me, you do not need to be technical or like I said, have any previous experience to do that. The result of being able to market on the internet means that you get to pick and choose the type of online business that you go, build and grow.
Examples: types of online businesses
Some examples within our own community:
- We have students who have become highly paid consultants. The help small, medium and large businesses on how to market their products and services.
- We’ve had students here who have become local business marketers. They’ve approached these small businesses and started to do the marketing for them. And as a result, get paid good money for it.
- We’ve had students who have continued to focus on Affiliate Marketing and Direct Sales. This is the business model that we recommend people to start with. It’s the fastest way to put money in your bank account. It also gives you complete geographical freedom, you don’t need to stay in one location. The bulk of our students actually stick with that type of business model, because it offers the most amount of flexibility.
- We’ve also had students who have started to sell many of their own products and services. And that’s including them designing and creating them in the first place.
- And we’ve even had students who have started to grow charities.
The key thing
The key thing is that once you know how to market, you have so many options on the types of online business that you could run.
Most likely you are like many of our students, so first of all you want to have a business that’s paying you. And paying you enough money to be self-sufficient and independent, work from home or quit your job. Or just have more money coming into the household.
You want to make sure that you focus on the training that we first provide in the “Getting Started Modules”. Because that is what it’s designed to do. It will show you how to put money in your bank account as quickly as possible. So that you can then scale your results to write your own paycheck. And the amount of money is going to come down to the amount of effort you put in. It’s exciting! That’s what I would say for Online Marketing. The opportunities are endless once you really understand it and you get to pick and choose!
