On February 10th, 2022, no other than Justin Woolf has invited me for an interview. It was to acknowledge my achievements with EarnItPassive. Justin asked if I had any advice for others who are looking into online entrepreneurship.
Mindset
A lot comes down to your mindset. And that’s something that I appreciate in this community and I keep telling that to my members as well. It’s not just: okay, here’s your business, you do something like this… But it sets your mind up properly. So there’s two, three things helped me.
Believe In Yourself
First of all, it starts with belief. It starts that you believe in yourself. That you can do this. Because you believe, you take action, and then you see some results. And often you see people who tend to, just give it a shot. And if they see results, then they start to believe. But results only come after taking action and after believing in yourself! And once you do that, everything shifts around you. And you become also a better person and more successful.
Matt’s Story
It was quite interesting for me like one or two years ago. Another affiliate, Matt, got acknowledged for his results in his business. And he explained that he quit his corporate job, without having the results. But he had this belief in himself. He knew he could do business online. He had this confidence that he could sell products online. And it turned out very well for him.
Community
And the second thing which helped me a lot is connecting to the community. Because this is an amazing community of like-minded people who are very helpful and who got your back. My social circle for example – like my closest friends and family – first supported me. But then later, it got quite tough. Because they told me: hey, leave it! Give it up! or, hey, if you need a change, go find another job! You’ve got an education! or, you’re crazy! There was only one exception. One person who told me, hey I believe in you, but I don’t believe in this online business stuff.
I understand that essentially my closest people believed in me. And that’s how they tried to protect me. By trying to keep me safe and secure, instead of letting me follow my heart. But if you ask anyone what they rather want. Safety and security, or what is in their heart. Everyone would choose what’s in their heart.
I was playing with the thought to give up quite a couple of times. But what would be the result?!? I would jump back into my 9-5 prison. Probably I won’t have the energy to try something like this in the next few years again. Because I already kind of failed. But only if you give up, you fail!!!
Make Friends!
And so I’ve reached out and made friends in this community. Globally. In different countries. I meet them online regularly. But there are other people who I was able to meet with in real life! And they got my back! They shared best practices and also encouraged me to get going whenever I was feeling low. That’s amazing! Plus the Inner Circle – the exchange of knowledge and what we’ve got there is fantastic!
